    LONI K. HARMON, LCSW

    Loni has worked in the mental health field for nearly 10 years. She received her Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Utah State University (Go Aggies!!) and her Masters in Social Work from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Loni specializes in relationship counseling, behavioral and substance addictions, grief and loss, depression and anxiety, and blended family issues. Loni especially loves working with individuals working through relationship issues during their single years. She is a proud mother and step-mother and she and her husband live in Holladay, Utah.

    ADRIENNE KOFFMAN, LCSW

    Adrienne has over 10 years of experience working in counseling. Adrienne has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Utah. Adrienne is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and she specializes in individual counseling for women, adolescents, and children. Adrienne is highly skilled in treating relationship and attachment issues, co-dependency, self-esteem issues, perfectionism and grief and loss. Adrienne is passionate about counseling and she strives to help her clients have a positive experience. Adrienne is a wife and mother of two young boys and she lives in Holladay, Utah.

    MAKENSIE BAKER, CSW

    Makensie graduated from Brigham Young University with a Masters in Social Work Degree in 2013. Her undergraduate degree was from Utah State University in Family and Human Development. During her Master studies, she interned at The Green House Center, in Pleasant Grove, and gained a love for working with children. She also interned at LDS Family Services and gained experience in working with adolescents and adults. Makensie has spent most of her employment at The Green House Center working with a wide range of individuals, from children to adults. Makensie works with adults, adolescents, and children struggling with depression, attachment difficulties, anxiety, self-harm, grief, addictions, and trauma. She practices cognitive therapy techniques, play therapy, sand-tray, art, and EMDR to promote healing from trauma. She believes in the power of relationships and the healing impact it can have on an individual’s life. Makensie was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado. She met her husband, Jason, at Utah State and they have been married for 4.5 years. They recently had their first son, Mckay, in December 2014. They enjoy being active and are regular participants in triathlons, water-skiing, mountain biking, and snow skiing.

    MELISSA BELL, LCSW

    Melissa has a Bachelor of Social Work from Brigham Young University and a Master of Social Work from Columbia University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has enjoyed serving a diverse group of individuals and families in the mental health industry for the last ten years. Melissa has a love for adoption and specializes in providing home studies, and consulting and counseling to expectant parents and adoptive couples. She also provides individual counseling to adolescents and women. Melissa spends her free-time enjoying the outdoors with her husband and two young children.

    KAREN ROWE, MFT-I

    Karen obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University and a Master’s Degree from Chapman University. Karen interned with The Healing Center at Bartz Altadonna Community Health Center. Following graduation Karen worked with Masada Homes working with children, families, foster families and adults in dealing with parenting and blended family issues, trauma, and other interpersonal concerns. As a mother, stepmother and grandmother, Karen understands many of the issues one may encounter in life. Karen provides honest, straightforward individual, marriage, family and child therapy. Her purpose is to assist those who are ready to make changes to improve their lives by being happier. Karen’s goal is to offer a safe, non-judgmental environment for clients to address challenges in life. Karen loves helping people work toward better communication and finding what works for them in their interpersonal relationships. Helen Keller said: “Although the world is full of suffering, it is full also of the overcoming it.” Karen’s approach is warm and genuine. She believes that we can overcome anything if we have the right tools to do so. Karen has special training in a number of evidence-based practices that deal with parenting issues, trauma, and interpersonal relationships, including PCIT, Triple P, TF-CBT, and IPT. She believes people have, within themselves, what it takes to make positive changes using therapy in a collaborative effort. Karen enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren. She and her husband live in Salt Lake County.

    REBECCA BROWN, CSW

    Rebecca graduated from the University of Utah with a Masters in Social Work in 2002, after completing her Bachelor’s degrees from the U in Interpersonal Communications and Spanish. She worked for LDS Family Services as a counselor for over 5 years specializing in relationship issues, as well as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and grief and loss issues. She enjoys working with children, adolescence, and adults in helping them achieve their full potential.

    Rebecca especially feels passionate about helping couples. Her approach is based in Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT) techniques that help couples enhance their emotional connection and overcome their relationship distress. She has been married for over 15 years and has three wonderful children. She enjoys tennis, music, traveling, but most often can be found watching her kids play sports and spending time with her husband and family.

    KYLE OSWALD, LCSW

    Kyle has a master’s degree in Social Work from Brigham Young University and bachelor degrees in Human & Family Studies and Spanish from the University of Utah. He has worked in the mental health field for 17 years in Canada, North Carolina, California and Maryland. Kyle specializes in working with distressed couples using Emotionally Focused Therapy to help address and resolve conflict while strengthening attachment bonds. Kyle also has years of experience helping clients overcome issues related to OCD, depression/anxiety, sexual addiction and trauma. A native of Holladay, Kyle has recently returned to his roots where he enjoys being close to extended family and the great outdoors.

    MARK HARMON, DATING COACH

    Mark received his Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Utah with a minor in Criminology and a certificate in Human Factors. He comes to the Millcreek team with a lot of experience in the ups and downs of relationships and loves to help advise those who need dating coaching. He is happily married, the father of 3 wonderful children and in his spare time he enjoys wake-boarding, snowboarding, watching old episodes of the Twilight Zone, growing the family garden, and being with his family and friends.

    KAITLYN FLANAGAN, LCSW

    Kaitlyn received her Master’s of Social Work degree in 2014 from The University of Alabama. Kaitlyn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has worked in the outpatient setting with children and adolescents with a wide range of diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and ODD. Kaitlyn has also worked with elementary aged children in the school setting addressing both home and school issues. Kaitlyn’s two greatest loves are ice cream and football.

    Cortney received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Utah and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University in New York. She received her clinical training from Yale Child Study Center, where she developed her skills and love for working with children. She then continued her training and career at Odyssey House Children’s Services. Cortney is a skilled play therapist and specializes in working with children of all ages and their families. She is especially passionate about helping children who suffer with anxiety and attachment disorders. Cortney resides with her husband and three children in Sugarhouse.

    AIMEE FAWSON, MSW-I

    Aimee attended Southern Utah University where she obtained her bachelors degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology. She began working in Child Welfare in 2007 as a case manager for children suspected of being abused and neglected. It was during this time, that she obtained her Social Service Worker’s License. Aimee is currently attending Utah State University in pursuit of her Master’s of Social Work Degree. She aspires to continue helping keep children safe from abuse and neglect and is honored to be an intern for Millcreek Adoption and Counseling Services. Aimee resides in Tooele County with her husband and four children. In her very limited spare time she enjoys cooking, running, and being with family.

    Amy graduated in 2003 from Brigham Young University with her master’s degree in social work. She loves helping people thrive in their personal lives and interpersonal relationships. She knows that whatever is nurtured will grow, and works to help individuals grow the best and truest parts of themselves individually and in relationships. She especially enjoys guiding women and men through difficult life transitions, coaching parents to find consistency and connection with their children, creating direction and goals for adolescents and adults, and assisting people with relationship issues, depression, and anxiety. She can help you find new ways to resolve your life issues, balance your own self-care, and improve your ability to care for others. She is a single mother with four children, loves being physically active in the outdoors, and enjoys singing and creating music with her children.
